Westshore Foot Care is owned and operated by Kristen McMartin, LPN. With over 14 years of nursing experience, Kristen looks forward to meeting you and providing you with the individualized care you deserve.

Advanced Foot Care for Nurses Certificate obtained in 2022

Registered as a practicing LPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.

Vaccinated against COVID-19

Foot care services are provided by a nurse and based on your individual assessment and the latest evidence-based research.

Foot care is beneficial for seniors, clients with mobility or vision limitations, and clients with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, arthritis and vascular disease.

Foot care may include the treatment of calluses, corns, thick and fungal toe nails, and the management of dry, cracked heels. Referrals to other services can be made as needed.

Your visit will include:

• a personalized assessment of lower legs, feet and circulation;

  • a foot wash, trimming and filing of nails, reduction of thickened nails, and moisturizing foot rub; and

    • a review of general health, footwear, and ongoing education.

Instruments sterilized to BC Best Practice Standards

Days in clinic: Tuesdays

Foot care cost: $100/client visit

Cash, cheque and e-transfer accepted.

Foot care provided by a nurse is a tax-deductible medical expense.

Receipts can be submitted to extended health plans.
