When we are supported by others who value our health and well-being, we are able to move forward with courage and resilience in our lives and relationships. The body has a repertoire of innate wisdom and resources no matter your age, background, or ability. This capacity inspires and motivates me to work holistically from the inside out. Commonly, I work with those who are experiencing: injury, stress, pain, aging, trauma, and concerns in the areas of mental, immune, and reproductive health. In addition to my work in the clinic, I support individuals and families in palliative, hospice, and end of life care at home or in hospital with Acupuncture. I embrace the diverse tools of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine including: Needling, Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, Massage, and Qi Gong. My nutritional approach is celebratory of food's centrality to life, and is informed by traditional food cultures and sustainability. My nutritional work draws from Ayurvedic Medicine, Chinese Medicine, Nutrition Science, and Herbal Medicine.

Days in Clinic: Thursdays & Saturdays

My path to acupuncture has been deeply influenced by my own experience with chronic pain, which began when I was 19. After years of working with many different health care providers, acupuncture became my go-to whenever I was experiencing acute symptoms. It was during a time when I had stretched myself too thin, pushing past my body’s own alarm bells, that I remember thinking, “These treatments are helping my physical pain, but they’re also helping me realign my inner and outer worlds.” Because of this, I have a profound respect for this medicine’s ability to treat the whole person.

Many of us are moving through life in a steady state of stress and doing, where productivity quietly becomes tied to our sense of worth, and slowing down doesn’t always feel easy. I’ve been guilty of this too.

Acupuncture works in part by supporting the nervous system, helping the body shift out of a constant state of tension and into a place where it can rest, regulate, and repair. When the body feels safe enough to soften, change becomes possible. Alongside acupuncture, I also offer cupping, moxa, gua-sha and electro-stim acupuncture as adjunct therapies that compliment and enhance the effects of acupuncture.

Acupuncture can be helpful for a range of concerns, including:

• Chronic pain: low back, shoulders & neck, hips/glutes, and knees

• Headaches and migraines

• Frozen shoulder

• Acute injury repair: sprains and strains

• Sciatica and nerve pain

• Sleep issues and insomnia

• Stress, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation

• Digestive concerns: bloating, IBS

• Perimenopause symptoms: hot flashes, sleep disturbance, joint pain, anxiety

• Fatigue and low energy

• Dizziness and vertigo

• Menstrual irregularities and PMS

• TMJ

• Hay fever and onset of cold symptoms

• Tinnitus

Days in Clinic: Mondays & Fridays

Payment Methods: Credit Card, e-transfer, cash
